Title Palette Animation
Conventional computer animation is performed by repeatedly drawing, erasing and redrawing images on the screen. Palette animation does not involve any drawing and erasing, but it can still make the images appear to move on the screen. Palette animation is pretty fast. A simple value returned to a palette register can change the color of the entire screen full of pixels before you can bat your eyelid.
