Rajat Gupta – OEC, Bhubaneswar (2013 – 2017)
TCS.

“Hi, I am Rajat Kumar Gupta , a student of Orissa Engineering College. I have joined ‘CITZEN’ for only 2 months for  “JBC (just before campus)” program. I got placed is TCS and its all credit goes to ‘Anukampa mam‘.  I am heartily thankful to all members of “CITZEN” especially ‘Anukampa mam’.

Only saying Thank you is not enough , I can’t repay what input mam have given. Before joining CITZEN ,I was quite nervous on account of even basics of programming in C and C++ but after joining day by day it becomes easier on my part. Now ,I could write the program, think for logic before this I was quite tensed about how to write a single line of program .

Technical Interview is the best experience for me , at that time I was not thinking about “ will I be selected “ rather I was quite happy for I have given at least all answer regarding C and C++ . I  was very confident only because of mam, the concept given by her is quite easier and understandable on my part and I deliver all the same way . And I can say “CITZEN ” is the best platform for a person which is not aware about even basics of programming language ,because  mam use to provide basic concept from beginning. They took care about each student individually and monitored properly .

At last thanks mam for being there for me .

Yours as ever

Rajat Kumar Gupta

Zycus.

“Hi , I am Surya. I am a student of Orissa Engineering College. I got placed in Zycus and looking forward to join it in coming July. This is not a thank you letter or a testimonial, this is a tale of a part of my life where my life changed. No thank you letter is enough to thank for what Citzen , Anu ma’am and Sumit sir has done for me. Well it all started when I was blown by teaching of a teacher in my PPT class that I couldn’t resist to go to her and ask that “Ma’am kya aap kahin class leti hain because aaj aapne jis tarike se C padhaya, mene aaj tak C ko wese samjha hi nahi tha”. Well let me tell you it was all together a different way of teaching. Her teaching made c look so simple that I was like totally surprised. It felt like yes now I know something and any question that can possibly arise from this concept, I can solve. Any way I started my learning with Citzen and done various courses like c , Database , JBC(just before campus) etc. Anu ma’am guided me in this process that what to do, when to do and how to do. Now it was the time of campus , She said I am arranging a PI for you guys all free and sumit sir will be taking it , it is said that “Who survives his interview can get through any PI”. I went for my PI and it went well “I survived 😉 “. Finally it was the 0th day of campus in my college , Zycus came and I got placed. The moment was indescribable. I believe miracle doesn’t happen in life it all happens with a great planning and hard work. Thank you Anu ma’am to guide me through , to hold me where I fall and to even make me understand by all means possible for what is right. You are not a teacher to me I always see a mother figure in you . I respect you and respect you like my mom and I know you know that. Thanks ma’am thanks for always being there for me. I would also like to thank sumit sir for such a great guidance throughout and all the Citzen staffs. It would not have been possible without you all.

“First of all, I would like to utilize every opportunity; I get to thank Anukampa madam for the kind of motivation, encouragement and support she has showered upon me. She has been one of the main sources of inspiration for me in my late student days. My relationship with her as a student dates back to May 2003. During that period I went through training under her guidance in oracle 9i as part of the summer training, which was more than a mere training. She takes enough care of her students to make the learning process much more productive than anything else. As it is always felt, a good teacher-student relationship makes the knowledge transfer process much easier. She is the kind of student who gives you enough freedom to represent yourself and share your ideas for an innovative and meaningful learning process. To be frank and honest, she was the first student whom I called for a piece of advice after going through the first round of campus selection of SATYAM in April 2004. I owe my success to her and also wish her all the best for her future endeavours.”

Dear Anu ma’m,

“In my life’s journey very few people are there who left a hearty touch on me. And as a Teacher (and consultant) you are one of them, whose guidance and support helped me to build my career. More than a teacher you have been a friend to me. Your technical knowledge and teaching style helped me a lot to catch the core things of C and SQL very quickly. I know for you I may be one in a lot, but for me you are one out of a lot. Thanks for helping me to be myself.”

All The Best to you for your organization.

I think C IT ZEN is an excellent institute to be at. It gives opportunity to explore the MUST HAVE knowledge in IT and gives a student an added point to get a good job in this competitive world. I did my project ‘INTRANET SIMULATOR ON LINUX’ using C under Anukampa Madam and had a rocking time out there. I had learned so much from the institute. Many people go waaaaOOOOOO when I explain them about the project and how we completed it .The project had played a vital role in my technical interview.

Now I would like to write something about the backbone of the institute

int main()
{
…….
…….
…….
printf(“%s”,ConvertToFemaleVersion(“DennisRitchie”));
/* This function takes a male string and converts it to an equivalent female type*/
……. /* It’ll take time to make the code of the above function Open Source. So please spare me for that*/
return 0;
}

Output
Anukampa Behera (Mitra)

I don’t think I have to say any thing more….

And last but not the least about Sumit Sir the other half of C IT ZEN. He has made the institute to grow.

C IT ZEN gave me the platform to believe in me. After taking the course in C IT ZEN realized that I have some uncommon quality too. I would like to complete the punch line of C IT ZEN, i.e “A Bridge Between…” as the bridge between you & your willpower. While doing the project at C IT ZEN I faced a lot of challenges which made me the patient & hard working, the fruit of which I am enjoying today. Again it gave me the impression that if one has the right attitude & determination, than he can do any thing in this world.

About Anukampa Madam I can say one thing and that is in real life I haven’t seen a lady having such curiosity & Determination to learn & do something .For me she is one of the best teachers I have ever seen. The best thing about her is that she teaches within the level of a student which makes tough things easier. I shall be ever obliging to her for her contribution towards me.

And about Sumit Sir, lot of credit goes to him for changing my life. He helped me not to think what I am, but to believe. He is not only my teacher but also my guide, my friend because one will feel comfortable talking with him.

The 45 days I spent in C IT ZEN was the best part of my career. I did a project in “SOCKET PROGRAMMING” and attended the training program called “JUST BEFORE CAMPUS (JBC)”. It transformed me entirely into new student. It enriched my technical knowledge….in all aspects…..the environment of C IT ZEN is so conducive…..that it will bring best out of u………..

The faculty spear headed by Anukampa madam, will leave no stone unturned to make you perfect for facing any interview. I would like to summarize my feelings with the following lines……….

/* Thy says pointers are powerful in C,
But I say Anukampa is powerful in pointers */

We are really grateful to Anukampa madam for her consistent efforts, guidance & supportiveness which helped us to glide through the challenging world of “oracle” almost effortlessly. The learning period was far more productive than we expected it to be. It has made us confident enough to face any demanding situation awaiting us in any of our further ventures.

C IT ZEN has a great atmosphere and my programming knowledge really excelled under the guidance of Anukampa madam. It was also great fun of having SUMMER TRAINING here. My success in the Campus Recruitment by TCS was due to Madams’ valuable tips and precious knowledge that she gave us in her “JUST BEFORE CAMPUS (JBC)” program. C IT ZEN ensures quality.

The guiding hands of Anukampa Madam were an efficient lift that made me crack the shackles of the recruitment process of TCS. I feel her guidance can never be fulfilled with any other substance.

If you want to get the best knowledge with least investment then you have to be at C IT ZEN. Nobody knows this better than me because I am doing two Projects in this Institute one in “Database Design and Implementation using Oracle” and the other in “SOCKET PROGRAMMING” using C. The faculty led by Anukampa madam is the strongest around. Adding to this, they are very friendly and caring. Madam also helped me in Campus Preparation through her program, “JUST BEFORE CAMPUS (JBC)” and as a result I am placed in CARITOR. All in all I rate this Institute as the Best Institute of my Engineering Career.

C IT ZEN is the place where your knowledge of core subjects is blossomed and it really helps the student to have some experience of the real world environment Project Works. I along with my friends did a project in “INTRANET SIMULATION” under Anukampa madam. With her able guidance we have not succeeded in completing the project in time but it also helped me immensely during my Campus Selection.

Anukampa Madam always stressed on the basics. I did my project in Socket Programming under guidance at C IT ZEN. I have never come across anyone with such in-depth knowledge in C and I am pretty sure this feeling of mine is shared by many students like me who had the opportunity to attend her lectures. Our interaction with her was superb. She was always there for us ever ready to help when ever we faced any trouble. I am sure with her at the helm; C IT ZEN has a very long innings to play. I wish her all the success.

It was our sheer good luck that we discovered a teacher who not only has an intriguing studentality embedded with sisterly affection but can match any other exponent in the field of “c” programming. Her prowess and exuberance combined with experience is “a student’s delight”. She was the sole inspiration behind both of us completing an advanced course in “c”(network programming using sockets in “c”), which was meant for our super seniors.

C IT ZEN is really a bridge between you and your success and also a bridge between you and faculties. Nobody can say when that turning point will come in our life and that will change us a lot. When I was in the ocean of mystery and confused about my career, at that time C IT ZEN gave me the light of hope. I did my project under Anukampa madam in NETWORK PROGRAMMING and I am really thankful to madam to give me the light of knowledge and to show me the right path.

I am also thankful to Sumit Sir in making me more confident and pragmatic in life.

I am very much thankful to Anukampa Madam to get a hold on the subjects C, C++ and Oracle. Her style of teaching is so expressive that everyone can get the details of that topic. She is very free with everybody and her hold over a topic is so strong that a student is never left with any doubt upon the topic. She has got a very intellectual style of teaching and explaining a topic.

When I think of C IT ZEN I can say one thing for sure and that is it is THE BRIDGE between a student and his career. The students of this institution are so co-operative that any kind of problem I faced was solved within minutes. The care that is taken in this Institute is very unique, the benefit of which I am realizing everyday in building my career.

The training in C IT ZEN was a wonderful experience for me. Before joining C IT ZEN, though I was good in C programming, I was little aware of the magic of C. In C IT ZEN, the teaching of Anukampa madam, who has superb mastery in C and C++ made me feel the actual taste of C. Her clear explanation of concepts is really so impressive. A scope to solve more than 1000 questions helped me a lot in excelling my knowledge in that field.

Sumit Sir and Rasmi Sir played an equally important and challenging role in the development process of the students. Their sincere cooperation, suggestion, advice and inspiration really increased my level of confidence.

C IT ZEN is not just an Institute, rather it can be said that it’s a small family. The friendly and healthy atmosphere in the Institute is unique and it establishes a harmonious relationship among the faculties and students.

My two months rigorous training session was truly captivating and spellbinding despite various loopholes. I joined at C IT ZEN as I was a student of Anukampa Madam being a hard taskmistress and passionate teacher made us to learn various concepts thoroughly. The HR classes of Rasmi Sir were full of effective techniques, honest & sincere feedbacks, and there was an air of independence for all of us to express our views, feelings and problems uninterrupted. Continuous assessment through various placement oriented tests, GDs and interviews was obvious there. A special mention of Sumit Sir needs to be placed without the reverberating smile and charm (with talks carrying loads of motivation) of which the institute would have gone haywire. It’s like a family with discipline, dedication and diligence instilled within us. Any student at C IT ZEN can make his career shimmering and illustrious if he is hardworking and focused unlike me. Anyways C IT ZEN made me to emphasize on my strengths to the maximum and discard my weaknesses to the minimum thereby making me confident and a true disciplinarian.

In my opinion, C IT ZEN is one of the perfect Institute in giving software and HR knowledge. It is the first Institute in Bhubaneswar that gives Project Based Training in VC++.

C IT ZEN study materials are unique in giving very high stress on quality improvement in students. The Institute provides a very powerful and solid study atmosphere. The tests conducted after the completion of each module gives tremendous boost and feedback to the students.
